Flight Accident Insurance will protect your life in case of an Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) on an airplane (a form of life insurance).

Flight accident insurance covers when you sustain covered injuries: 1) received while a passenger (not as a pilot, operator or member of the crew) riding in, boarding or alighting from a public conveyance provided by a common carrier, and 2) resulting in any of the following losses within 180 days from the date of the accident.

There is another form of life insurance called “24-hour AD&D” that covers you anytime when you are traveling or living abroad. This insurance is significantly more expensive than flight accident insurance. An application for this insurance needs to be completed and reviewed by underwriters to determine the cost based on your age and countries visited.

"Per Trip" Products - this form of insurance will only protect a single trip.
"Annual" Products - this form of travel insurance will provide a full year of coverage.
"Multi-trip" Products - this form of insurance will protect on multiple trips during a year, each trip cannot exceed 30 days.
