| | About Emergency Evacuation Emergency Evacuation will transport you to the nearest hospital or your home in case of a medical emergency (repatriation of remains coverage is included). |
Our Emergency Evacuation Plans We offer two types of medical evacuations -- one to the “nearest hospital” and one to the “hospital of your choice”. We recommend getting evacuation insurance to “hospital of your choice” if you are traveling to a country with low quality medical facilities. Additionally, make sure that you have domestic health insurance that will be available to you upon return to your home country. If you are traveling to countries with good quality medical facilities, we recommend getting evacuation insurance to nearest hospital which is cheaper. Additionally, don't forget to purchase emergency medical coverage for the countries that you will be visiting. |
