| | About Cruise Insurance Cruise Insurance has sufficient coverage to protect you on cruise in case of a medical emergency (medical and evacuation cost on board a cruise are higher that any other typical trip). |
Our Cruise Insurance Plans We offer best choices for you when shopping for cruise insurance. We reviewed and selected travel insurance plans that offer sufficient coverage -- medical and evacuation when you are on a cruise. Going through a medical emergency on a cruise ship can be more expensive than “on land”. Getting evacuated from a ship can easily cost you over $50,000. Additionally, if you insure your cruise and related travel costs, trip cancellation and trip interruption can help you recover your costs for a valid reason. You could look at insurance provided by your cruse line: Carnival, Celebrity, Disney, NCL, Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean or Berkley. Typically, cruise lines provide insurance with reduced benefits. Because cruise lines have a contract with a single insurer, benefits are reduced to increase cruise line commissions. Additionally, many plans offer vouchers instead of money in case of a cancellation or delay. If you are unhappy with a cruise line, vouchers for the same cruise line would not be of any value for you. |
