The Policy contains reductions, limitations, exclusions, and termination provisions. Full details of the coverage are contained in the Policy. Effective Date: The insurance will be effective when premium is
received by Travel Guard.
If additional per trip coverage was purchased, premium must be paid by the Insured and received by Travel Guard for coverage to go into effect. Coverage will be in effect for all flights within your original travel period.
Exclusions:
The Insurer will pay this benefit if the insured is injured while riding as a
passenger in or boarding or alighting from a certified passenger aircraft
provided by a regularly scheduled airline operated by a properly certified
pilot.
The Insurer will pay the Flight Accident Benefit for loss of life, two limbs, sight of both eyes, or loss of one limb and the sight of one eye when such double losses are the result of the same accident. One-half of the benefit is payable for the loss of one limb or the sight of one eye. If multiple losses result from the same accident, the total amount the Insurer will pay will be limited to the Flight Accident Benefit. Loss must be within 365 days of the accident. The Insurer will pay for loss of life if your body has not been found within one year of the accident. Our maximum total liability resulting from the same occurrence will be $10,000,000. The Insurer will pay up to the maximum amount purchased, not to exceed $500,000 per occurrence to or on account of any person insured through Travel Guard International.
